Hey guys....
Wanted to let everyone know we've extended the deadline to July 31st. That gives everyone 9 more days to respond!! Even if your not going to attend, we ask that you please send in your questionnaire so that we can put your updated information in the Classmate Directory. I have to type that up and get it printed the first week of August, so that it'll be ready by the reunion.
I'm getting really excited about everything, I just know its gonna be an awesome time!!
Please if anyone has any questions, just give one of us a call..
Love you guys, see you in 3 weeks!!! Tammy

Prayers to everyone
Hey guys,
I had the privilege of attending the Baccalaureate Service at Twin Valley High School yesterday June 3rd. It was a special occasion, allowing students and family to give praise and thanks to God for bringing them that far. I was blessed to see a few old classmates---David Ratliff, Michelle Cook and Brad Ratliff. It was great to see them, and they all looked great of course!!
All that day I was reminded of three things. 1- it was the day we graduated 20 years ago! 2- it was the day my Dad passed away 4 years ago..... 3-and how proud my sister would have been of my nephew who's graduating.
I guess my reason for this note, is to simply say I love you guys. God has truly blessed my life with an amazing family, wonderful friends, and most importantly his mercy and love. No matter what we face in this life, whether it be the loss of a loved one, a physical ailment, or anything at all....we need to give it to God, he'll handle it for us. He is the only thing in this world that can truly sustain us, and is the only thing that can give us strength when we absolutely have none of our own.
I am so thankful to have grown up in a community like ours, and to have known such wonderful people as all of you. Although we may not see each other that often, when I do see any of you-- I'm automatically taken back to a sweet sweet time in my life. A time when friends and fun were all that mattered, and responsibility belonged only to our parents (THOSE WERE THE DAYS!).
Life is too short to miss the opportunities we're given daily. So for me, on this day, I want you all to know I'm thinking of you and your in my prayers. I love each of you, and look forward to seeing you.
Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well. Please email us anytime....we are checking email daily.
Take care and God Bless.... Tammy Rowe Miller

Message from Tammy Miller...REUNION AUGUST 11, 2007!

Hey Everybody,
I hope this letter finds everyone happy and well. Can you believe its been 20 years since we graduated? In so many ways it feels like it was yesterday, and in other ways like a lifetime ago. Either way, the memories of all those years are still very close to my heart.
I can’t tell each of you how much it has meant to all of us to be able to plan this reunion. To think we’ve been out for 20 years almost blows our minds, but when this committee got together, its like not a day had gone by. We were once again the old friends who shared memories all the way back to kindergarten. We laughed about things we hadn’t thought of in years. Our hope for this reunion, is that it will be another opportunity to make some amazing memories with old friends.
We’ve scheduled the event to take place the second weekend in August, to hopefully not interfere with family vacations or the beginning of school. We wanted to make the 20 year reunion extremely special for all who attend, so this year’s picnic will feature something special for the kids. The price for the entire weekend will be Couples $90 and Singles $45, with no additional charge for children attending Saturday’s Picnic. A schedule is included that details all 3 events.
We will be creating a DVD, that will include pictures from previous reunions, snapshots from elementary and high school, pictures from old annuals, as well as snapshots from this reunion. If anyone would like to contribute specific pictures from school or a past reunion, please email them in JPEG format to my attention. My address is: tammy.miller@rhd.com. The DVD with old pictures will play throughout our Saturday dinner, then we’ll add the new reunion pictures later, and mail out the finished product. This, along with a book of current classmate info, is also included at no additional charge. The DVD will be mailed out a few weeks after the reunion.
We will have a photographer taking candid shots at all three events, which is what we’ll use on the DVD. She will also be taking a group photo on Friday and Saturday night, as well as a couple photo on Saturday. These will be available for purchase, and will also be mailed out a few weeks after the reunion.

If you could please fill out the enclosed questionnaire and return along with payment by our deadline of July 15th. Please make checks out to “Class of 87” and mail to my attn: Tammy Rowe Miller 384 Brookwood Circle Bristol, VA 24201.
We will be posting the Reunion information here for your review, as well as a list of classmates we’ve not been able to reach. Please take time to look at the list, and if you know where anyone may be or how we can reach them, please let us know.
This website will also direct you to our email address of dragons1987@yahoo.com, which we’ll be checking frequently.
Please feel free to call on any of us with questions. We can’t wait to see you!! Take Care and God Bless…

Welcome to DRAGON SPEAKS!

Hi everyone:
Chances are, if you are reading this, you graduated from Garden High School in 1987. I am glad you are here! Our goal is to maintain both the web site at www.geocities.com/dragons1987 and use these tools to keep up with eveyone for future reunions and to generally keep in touch.
NEXT REUNION = the BIG 20! That is unbelievable! We are shooting for the first week of August to hold the event. Not sure where, though....any suggestions?
MUCH more later! Drop us a note at dragons1987@yahoo.com.
Later! Brad Ratliff
